First off...be sure your knife block can handle the 10" blade.I had to remove my sharpener (honing steel) in order to fit it in the block.No big deal, but it may be to some.Measure it out, first.
Other than that, the knife is GREAT!I like the feel of the walnut handle, which is nice in an age of plastic handles.
The teeth are spaced a LITTLE wider than my last bread knife, but I don't think it cuts differently.Either way, this knife cuts through even the toughest 3 day-old ciabatta crust with ease.
Don't overspend on your bread knife; if taken care of this will last your lifetime.

One lip of the bread pan did not lock into the bread maker because it was bent down significantly. This was not shipping damage. I did not call the company because I was able to bend it into place myself, however was surprised that they shipped damaged merchandise.
A great product. I use it every day for my grilled ham & cheese sandwich at lunchtime. I've been searching for a replacement for my old grill. One of the few with flat griddle plates (most have ridges) that I prefer. This one heats up faster and grills more quickly than my old one. A great grill at a good price.

This is an excellent bread machine, I have been very happy with machine....however I had to order a replacement pan due to metal exposure and scraping that happened in blade areas.If you purchase this machine DO NOT wash or fill pan with hot water immediately after removing bread....it causes protective pan liner to flake off.I now wait until pan cools before I soak it in hot water to clean.

This breadmachine with crust set on medium, burned the bottom half of the crust, every time. The little window on top for selections - is hard to read or see what shows up, other than time numbers. I had to get help from another person to make sure entries were correct.I didn't like the size,shape of the bread baking pan. In all it just was not what I thought from reading the product descriptsion, and reading comparison product information. I am 67 and an experienced bread maker, and was wanting a good machine to replace being able to do the job for myself.
